Mesa council awards $17M contract for Elliott Road improvement

A $17.1 million contract was awarded by the Mesa City Council for a project that will transform the Elliot Road corridor from a two-lane to a six-lane road.

The contract was awarded to Phoenix-based HEI Civil during the council’s Monday meeting by a 5-0 vote. Mayor Mark Freeman and Councilmember Jenn Duff were absent.
