Mountain Vista Medical Center’s Imaging Department has been awarded a three-year accreditation in computed tomography following a review by the American College of Radiology.

It is the fifth consecutive CT ACR accreditation for Mountain Vista’s Imaging Department.

“The ACR Gold Seal of Accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety,” a release stated.

“We are proud to receive this accreditation once again. ACR accreditation is basically the gold star for radiology,” said Deb Nordyk, Steward Health Care Arizona region director of imaging.

“Our patients can be assured when they come to Mountain Vista Medical Center that they are receiving the highest quality of imaging.”
