A family that lost a father and daughter in a car accident Monday has raised over $101,000 on GoFundMe in just three days.
The Garlock family was stricken by tragedy when 42-year-old Troy Garlock and his 8-year-old daughter Elsie were killed when their vehicle collided with a stolen truck at Val Vista Drive and Southern Avenue. The driver of the stolen truck was also killed. Mabel Garlock, Troy’s 6-year-old daughter, was also in Garlock’s car at the time of the collision and was injured and hospitalized, but is in stable condition.
A GoFundMe was created to raise money to support the Garlock family. In just three days, the GoFundMe has raised over $101,000, smashing the initial goal of $20,000 by the funeral service on Feb. 15. The goal now sits at $110,000 raised by Feb. 15.
