Falcon Field Airport in Mesa is coordinating with aircraft owners to host Cockpit Close-Up, a free community event 8-10 a.m. Saturday.
It features volunteer pilots based at Falcon Field and their private aircraft.
The Cockpit Close-Up is Feb. 1 at the airport terminal building, 4800 E. Falcon Drive.
The featured group will be Angel Flight West, a network of volunteer pilots who provide free medical transportation to people in need. Get a close-up look and talk about flight knowledge, experiences, aviation careers, etc. Questions are welcome.
