City of Mesa plans July 4 closures

The city of Mesa released their plans for July 4 closures.

On July 4, all city offices will be closed. City libraries will be closed as well, according to Mesa Communications Specialist Kevin Christopher. Recyclables and trash will be collected.

Valley Metro will be on a Sunday schedule on July 4, according to the Valley Metro’s website.

The following Mesa pools will have special holiday hours on July 4, according to the city’s website:

• Brimhall Aquatic Complex: 1 p.m.-5 p.m.

• Carson Aquatic Complex: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Fremont Aquatic Complex: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Kino Aquatic Center: 1 p.m.-5 p.m.

• Mesa Aquatic Complex: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Rhodes Aquatic Complex: 1 p,m.-5 p.m.

• Shepherd Aquatic Complex: 1 p.m.-5 p.m.

• Skyline Aquatic Center: 1 p.m.-5 p.m.

• Stapley Aquatic Complex: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
