The Artists of the Superstitions 2024 Spring Studio Tour is March 15-17 in Apache Junction and Gold Canyon.

See the work of artists such as Anita Pope, Susan Lowry, Deb Mullins, Diane Cross, Donna Vogel, Jennifer Schu, Maya Henaff and Bill Agard.

A signature event for the Artists of the Superstitions, the tour will feature more than 50 artists in 10 studios throughout the area. Studios are open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 15-16 and certain studios are to be open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. March 17, according to a release.

“Our group is all local artists and our work is handmade, juried and perfect for your own home and terrific for holiday shoppers seeking original and unique gifts,” it states. “Our artists will be offering their creative work in fiber and fabric, glass, gourds, jewelry, metals, mosaics, painting and drawing, photography, pottery, sculpture, wood and mixed media.

The Superstition Mountains have inspired people to make art for many years in many different manners. The area is vibrant with our saguaros and a wide variety of wildlife that freely roam the wilderness, which many artists include in their art, it states.

Maps for the tour are available at the Apache Junction Area Chamber of Commerce, 567 W. Apache Trail; Gold Canyon Visitors Center at Centerstage Church/Zao Theatre, 6338 S. Kings Ranch Road; businesses around Gold Canyon and Apache Junction; and at www.artistsofthesuperstitions.com.

The map includes the addresses of each studio on the tour, the hours of that studio, the names of the artists and each artist’s unique medium.
