Arizona Builders Alliance hosting 9th Annual GC Expo in Mesa

The Arizona Builders Alliance, a trade association for contractors in Arizona, is hosting the 9th annual GC Expo in collaboration with the Associated Minority Contractors of Arizona and the American Subcontractors Association of Arizona.

The Aug. 14 event at the Mesa Convention Center, 263 N. Center St. in Mesa, is to offer general contractors an opportunity to connect with specialty trade contractors and businesses, fostering new business relationships, according to a release.

The construction industry in Arizona is experiencing substantial growth, with an increase in commercial building construction. With this construction boom, projects hinge on trust and collaboration between industry professionals. The GC Expo is a prime opportunity to build these relationships, the release states.

“In the construction industry, building strong relationships is not just beneficial — it’s essential,” Kim Davids, president of the Arizona Builders Alliance, said in the release. “Networking can transform contacts into contracts, driving growth and innovation. At the ABA, we help members turn strategic networking leads into lucrative opportunities and partnerships, helping them navigate industry challenges and advance careers and business success.”

The GC Expo is open to the public and will feature more than 50 general contracting firms, and extended expo hours to allow more time for networking.
