Birdcall plans to open a location at 2200 S. Santan Village Parkway, Gilbert.

The Denver, Colo.-based restaurant chain serves natural chicken sandwiches and salads.

It donates 1% of its sales back to the community.

The chain has six locations in Colorado, one in Texas and a Scottsdale location. No opening date has been announced. www.eatbirdcall.com.
