A $500,000 solar-power system used to reduce electrical costs is one of the capital improvements in the nearly $13 million fiscal year 2025-26 budget for Apache Junction Sewer District, which includes 2% wastewater service-fee increases.
The sewer board is to vote on the budget at a meeting that begins at 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, in the District Board Room, 5661 S. Ironwood Drive in Apache Junction. There is no July meeting.
