Billy's Place offers a variety of grief support services, including peer-to-peer support groups, grief-informed school trainings, a grief resource center, and community outreach.
Thanks to the grant, the organization can serve even more families in the community. This collaboration allows Billy's Place to meet the expanding needs of Valley schools and families, especially as the population grows.
The West Valley Mavericks Foundation’s mission is to assist families, children, and others in need while improving the quality of life within West Valley communities through donations to Arizona-based organizations. Each year, the foundation selects several nonprofit organizations, like Billy's Place, that align with its goals and are making an impact in the local community.
“The West Valley Mavericks Foundation generated over $2.3 million in 2023 to support the West Valley community. As a result of 2023 efforts, the West Valley Mavericks will be providing funding to over 90 West Valley charities this year. West Valley Mavericks Foundation President, Chad Frank, stated.
