Glendale again invites the community to take part in its annual MLK Jr., Day of Service from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 17. Volunteers will glean fruit at Sahuaro Ranch Park (9802 N. 59th Ave.) and Manistee Ranch Park (5127 W. Northern Ave.).
The public is asked to donate citrus from their own trees and drop it off at the citrus collection areas.
Donated citrus will be given to St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance and used in their food boxes. Volunteers will be available to unload citrus from residents’ vehicles.
