Glendale, Peoria runners ready for NXR Southwest

Three runners from Glendale and Peoria performed well in the Division II state championship race, finishing in the top 10 Nov. 2 at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix, but were left wanting more.

Sunrise Mountain junior Andrew Fastrup, Deer Valley sophomore Daequan Tigue and Centennial senior Mattox Grove will get that chance during Saturday's NXR Southwest regional meet.

NXR Southwest, presented by Nike, starts its races at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23 at 6910 E. Williams Field Road, Mesa.
