For four Glendale City Council members, the regular meetings returning to City Council Chambers at 5850 W. Glendale Ave., on Aug. 11 will feel like a homecoming.
But it will be the first day in a new home for Leandro Baldenegro, Lupe Conchas and Dianna Guzman. To be fair, all moved into their council offices earlier this summer.
All three joined the council in 2024, well after the project to almost completely rebuild City Hall — dubbed the Downtown Campus Reinvestment Project — began and meetings moved to the Glendale Civic Center in August 2023. They had a chance to test drive the revamped council chambers briefly Aug. 4 during a special meeting declaring the results of the July 21 council election official.
