Arrowhead Little League baseball scheduled tryouts for its two most competitive divisions, of its spring league, AAA and Majors, on two different dates.

All players who have signed up for AAA or Majors must try out. Players only need to try out on one of the two days, and the schedule is the same for both. Tryout times are:

• 12s: 8 a.m.
• 11s: 8:45
• 10s for Majors: 9:30
• 10s for AAA: 10:15
• 9s: 10:45
• 8s: 11:15

The tryouts are at Foothills Park, 5708 W. Union Hills Drive, Glendale. Players are asked to arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time.

Families should bring the necessary equipment and water to tryouts. Parents/guardians should refer to the little league age chart to determine a player’s “baseball age” and show up for the correct tryout group.

Registration will remain open through Feb. 7 for those two leagues and Feb. 16 for the other leagues.

The late registration period begins on Jan. 26. During this time, a $25 late registration fee will be applied.
