For those traveling this Labor Day weekend, gas price will hit an all-time high for this time of year, AAA Arizona said in a release Friday.
Despite prices in the Valley dropping 7 cents a gallon this week to $4.62 a gallon, the price represents an 85 cent increase over last year’s $$3.77 a gallon.
In Gilbert, the median price is $4.67 per gallon. The cheapest gas is at Sam's Club at Gilbert Road and Houston Avenue at $3.93 per gallon while the cheapest gas that does not require a membership is at the Mobil at Val Vista Drive and Ray Road, where it is at $4.15 per gallon.
