Trail detours planned during Gilbert maintenance work

Gilbert trail maintenance work is expected to take about 90 days.

Temporary detours will be in place as annual trail maintenance in Gilbert began June 8 across several locations in the town.

Concrete repairs are scheduled along portions of the Loop 202 trail, the Western Canal Trail and the Powerline Trail, according to the town.

The work is part of routine maintenance that targets selected areas of Gilbert’s trail system each year to keep paths safe and accessible for the public.
