SanTan Village is offering shoppers a way to support local schools through its School Cents program, which rewards participating schools based on customer purchases made at the shopping center.
Under the program, shoppers earn points for designated schools by making purchases at participating SanTan Village stores and restaurants and uploading their receipts through the School Cents website or mobile app. Each dollar spent is worth five points, and additional bonus-point opportunities are available at select retailers, restaurants and special events throughout the program year.
School officials and supporters can track points through the School Cents platform. Schools with the highest point totals receive a larger share of a funding pool totaling up to $15,000.
