Gilbert Vice Mayor Chuck Bongiovanni and Councilmember Jim Torgeson are taking their sometimes blunt approach to local politics into a new venue: podcasting.
The two council members are preparing a show that Bongiovanni said will combine satire, skits, guests and discussion of Gilbert issues with a broader goal of teaching residents how local government works and how to communicate more effectively with elected officials.
The podcast will be called “Truth, Half Truths, Assumptions and Outright Lies,” Bongiovanni said. “Epic Transparency" will be its domain name.
