Alum and violinist Lindsey Stirling performed alongside students at Mesquite High School during a collaborative concert this month that highlighted the school’s music and dance programs.

The May 5 event, titled “The Stirling Reputation of Our Bands & Orchestras,” featured the school’s symphonic band, symphony orchestra, concert choir and the Beyond Motion Dance Company.

Students performed selections from Stirling’s repertoire with support from members of her touring band.
