East Valley residents of Maricopa County, needing to record a document but still wanting to use Recorder's Office services close to home, can now do so at a kiosk inside the Southeast Regional Library in Gilbert.
The kiosks use video technology that directly connect you to a live member of the Recorder's Office staff to walk you through the process, step by step.
The kiosk hours are Monday through Friday,10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Southeast Regional Library is at 775 N. Greenfield Road in Gilbert.
Maricopa County residents and property owners can use these full-service kiosks to record documents, such as deeds for a new property, medical liens and even death certificates.
These kiosks are a new tool for constituents to use, in addition to the option to record documents by mail or by going to the Recorder's main office in downtown Phoenix.
The Southeast Regional Library kiosk is the second to open this year, the first being in May at the Sun City Library in the West Valley. Recorder Stephen Richer intends to open another kiosk in Goodyear later this year.
