A seven-month water pipeline rehabilitation project along Higley Road in Gilbert is scheduled to begin Sept. 28 and is expected to bring temporary traffic restrictions to the area.
The project will rehabilitate a water pipeline along Higley Road from Loop 202 to Queen Creek Road. Town officials said the work is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve Gilbert's water infrastructure.
Construction is expected to continue through spring 2027. Motorists traveling through the corridor should anticipate lane restrictions and periodic traffic shifts as crews complete work along the route.
Town officials encourage drivers to allow extra travel time, follow posted traffic-control measures and use caution when traveling through construction zones.
Additional project updates and traffic information will be provided throughout construction as work progresses.
