Higley Road water valves reopen

Gilbert is beginning to reopen water valves along Higley Road on April 15 as the first phase of a major pipeline rehabilitation project nears completion.

Traffic restrictions along Higley Road are expected to remain in place through the end of April as crews complete final work between Guadalupe and Ray roads.

The town of Gilbert started rehabilitating water pipelines along Higley Road in December 2025, focusing on the stretch between Guadalupe and Ray roads.
