Handel's Ice Cream opens south Gilbert spot

Handel’s Ice Cream is opening a new location in south Gilbert on Sept. 17 at 3984 S. Val Vista Drive, Suite 104.

The shop is owned by Terry and Jennifer Keenen and operating partner Vanessa Dodds. Grand opening festivities begin at 10 a.m. Sept. 17, with giveaways for the first 100 customers, including free ice cream for a year, free pints for a year and gift cards.
