The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada has awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the town of Gilbert for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023.

This was the 33rd consecutive year that the government has achieved the award.

In order to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, a government must publish an easily readable and efficiently organized annual comprehensive financial report.
