Gilbert Town Council will recognize the town's "Volunteer MVPs" at its Tuesday night meeting.

The program, now in its third year, focuses on volunteers, nominated by the public, who embody Gilbert's values of driven, kind, bold and humble.

Special recognition also is given to a youth volunteer of the year and a Gilbert Kindness group award.
