Gilbert superintendent addresses guns on campus, suicide prevention efforts

Gilbert Public Schools will accelerate the rollout of weapons detection systems after guns were found on two of its campuses, officials said.

“These tragic and alarming events shake a school, school district and a community to the core,” he said.
