Gilbert Sister Cities has selected six high school juniors to serve as 2026 youth ambassadors following a four-month application and interview process.
The students will participate in an international exchange program with sister cities in Northern Ireland and China during the summer.
Three of the ambassadors will travel in June to Antrim-Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland, where they will stay with host families before returning to Gilbert to host visiting students in July. The remaining three will travel in July to Leshan, China, following the same exchange format.
