The town of Gilbert is seeking volunteers to assist residents with basic household tasks during its next day of service on July 18.
The program provides assistance to residents who have limited financial resources or physical limitations and need help with routine household projects. Volunteer activities may include light outdoor yard work, such as mowing lawns, pulling weeds and assisting with trash and recycling, as well as light indoor cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming and dusting.
The next day of service is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. July 18, with this event focused on indoor projects only.
