Gilbert Public Schools employees will receive 2% pay raises for the 2026-27 fiscal year as district leaders worked to balance staff retention with ongoing enrollment declines and significant budget pressures.
The raises approved April 28 apply to all employees and carry a total cost of $5.76 million, including payroll benefits.
Of that, $3.81 million will come from maintenance and operations funds, $1.66 million from Classroom Site Fund dollars and $290,000 from other funds, according to the district’s preliminary budget presentation.
