Gilbert launches annual school supply drive for local schools

Gilbert is holding its annual Stock the Classroom school supply drive and is seeking community donations to help provide classroom materials for students and teachers ahead of the new school year.

The donation campaign runs from July 20 through Aug. 3 and will benefit classrooms in Gilbert Public Schools and Higley Unified School District.

According to the town, many teachers purchase classroom supplies with their own money to meet student needs. The drive is intended to help offset those costs and provide students with basic learning materials.
