The town of Gilbert recognized some of its most dedicated community members during the third annual Gilbert Community Volunteer MVP awards ceremony April 8.
Held at a Gilbert Town Council meeting, the event honored individuals and groups whose service reflects Gilbert’s core values: bold, driven, kind and humble, along with a special recognition for Youth Volunteer of the Year and for a community group.
“This is a great thing for us to honor these volunteers,” Mayor Scott Anderson said before handing off to Assistant Town Manager Dawn Prince to make the presentations.
