Gilbert Public Schools is preparing to roll out ParentSquare, a comprehensive school-to-home communication platform, in a move officials say will modernize parent engagement, improve accessibility and streamline how staff and families connect across the district.
The proposed implementation comes after more than a year of research, stakeholder collaboration and growing recognition of communication vulnerabilities in the current system.
Dawn Mackay, GPS director of marketing and communications, presented the plan in recent meetings with the governing board, emphasizing how ParentSquare could centralize messaging, ensure accessibility and better protect both staff and students.
