Gilbert district maintains spring break '27 dates after debate

Spring break for Gilbert Public Schools in 2027 will be March 15-26.

Gilbert Public Schools will keep its planned spring break schedule for the 2026-27 school year after a governing board discussion about whether the dates should be moved to better align with neighboring districts.

The issue was raised after board member Blake Robison noted that nearly every surrounding district scheduled its spring break a week earlier than Gilbert’s, creating potential conflicts for families and student activities.

Gilbert's 2027 spring break is scheduled March 15-26.
