Gilbert council set to discuss 'meet and confer' again

Gilbert Town Council will take another look at a “meet and confer” process for negotiating with its public safety associations, the second such look in a month.

This one comes in a special study session to be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Gilbert Town Hall, 50 E. Civic Center Drive, Gilbert. Council does not have a regular meeting following it.

The special session was called because the first such study session, held Sept. 10, was adjourned with many questions unanswered, but council already was running late that night for the start of its regular meeting.
