Subaru Loves to Care, the corporate impact initiative of Subaru of America, made a donation to Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center that will give patients receiving care and treatment for cancer some extra comfort.
,The Subaru Superstore of Chandler dropped off more than 80 blankets and dozens of handwritten messages of hope to support cancer patients throughout their treatment.
“Blankets not only provide needed warmth to our patients, who often get cold during chemotherapy or immunotherapy treatments, but also bring a reminder that others in the community support them on this journey,” Andy Petersen, president and chief executive officer of the Banner Health Foundation, said in a release. “We are extremely grateful to Subaru for providing love and hope.”
