Actors Youth Theatre will present Disney's "The Little Mermaid" this month at Life Community Church in Gilbert.
Based on the animated Disney film, the musical follows Ariel, the youngest daughter of King Triton, who dreams of living in the world above the sea and pursuing Prince Eric. To make that possible, she strikes a bargain with the sea witch Ursula, trading her tail for legs.
As the agreement proves more complicated than expected, Ariel relies on the help of Flounder, Scuttle and Sebastian in an effort to restore order under the sea.
