Susan A. Caldwell was born May 6, 1939 in Portland, OR and passed from multi system failure after an emergent hip replacement.She joined her parents Donald and Audrey Hewitt and sister Donna Mitchell on November 13, 2018.Susan graduated from R.A. Long HS, 1957 in Longview, WA and continued her education at UPS and TCC, Tacoma, WA. She retired from Weyerhaeuser after 18 years of service as an accounting manager.Susan married Louis Caldwell in August 1983 in Aberdeen, WA.They lived between WA and AZ for 14 years. She was a member of Shepard of the Desert Lutheran Church and volunteered her time on the Board of Directors at the Lutheran Thrift shop in Sun City, AZ.Susan had an infectious compassionate spirit and went out of her way to help others. Family was very important to her.Susan is survived by her husband, Louis; daughters, Lynne (Jim) Swegle, Julie (Ken) Pierce-Tepley, Karen Caldwell; and sons, Robert (Karen) Pierce and Raymond (Heather)Caldwell; grandchildren include: Robert Pierce, Rachel Pierce, Kylie (Scott) Thompson, Marissa Swegle, Usha Caldwell, Karina Caldwell, and Talia Caldwell all in WA state.There will be a Celebration of Life at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Regency Mortuary located at 9850 W. Thunderbird Blvd., Sun City, AZ.
