The Florence Police Department's officer force is not fully staffed.

The Florence Police Department is celebrating having a full contingent of officers.
At the Florence Town Council meeting on Monday, Florence Police Chef Bruce Walls introduced the officers and staff members to the public.
The officers are:
Justin Allen
Mackenzie Brown
Christopher Burns
Lisa Celaya
David Christensen
James Judson
Steven Martinez
Marcos Ornelas
Jesse Potts
Miguel Renteria
JB Smith
Connor Duffy
The department’s support team includes:
Cheryl Agnew, property and evidence technician
Monica Newton, records clerk
Christopher Burns, dispatcher
Retha Russell, dispatcher
Amber Schuler, dispatcher
The department also showed off new equipment it has recently purchased through grants and development impact fees. The equipment includes a Larsen 45-foot security camera system, 2023 Dodge Ram Power Wagon, four unmanned aerial systems, 2023 Dodge Charger and a 2023 BMW motorcycle.
