Florence police force now fully staffed

The Florence Police Department is celebrating having a full contingent of officers.

At the Florence Town Council meeting on Monday, Florence Police Chef Bruce Walls introduced the officers and staff members to the public.

The officers are:

  • Justin Allen
  • Mackenzie Brown
  • Christopher Burns
  • Lisa Celaya
  • David Christensen
  • James Judson
  • Steven Martinez
  • Marcos Ornelas
  • Jesse Potts
  • Miguel Renteria
  • JB Smith
  • Connor Duffy

The department’s support team includes:

  • Cheryl Agnew, property and evidence technician
  • Monica Newton, records clerk
  • Christopher Burns, dispatcher
  • Retha Russell, dispatcher
  • Amber Schuler, dispatcher

The department also showed off new equipment it has recently purchased through grants and development impact fees. The equipment includes a Larsen 45-foot security camera system, 2023 Dodge Ram Power Wagon, four unmanned aerial systems, 2023 Dodge Charger and a 2023 BMW motorcycle.
