New Chandler eatery's claim: First Indian drive-thru in state

Tikka Drive opened in April in a shopping center on the northwest corner of Arizona Avenue and Warner Road that it shares with ATL Wings and a smoke shop, in north Chandler, in a former Yoliberto’s location.

Billing itself as the first hot, handmade Indian food drive-thru in Arizona, Tikka Drive offers Punjabi recipes from five clay tandoor ovens and doesn’t use freezers or microwave ovens.

All its meat is certified halal, the restaurant states.
