On June 5, Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona opened its second clearance center and its first in the East Valley.
With items sold by the pound, the new Goodwill Clearance Center — located at 1029 N. Arizona Ave. on the northeast corner at Ray Road, behind Burger King — will offer thrift shoppers the opportunity to get more for less, according to a news release.
The release also states customers will be able to stretch their dollar with “amazing” finds, along with the thrill of the hunt by thrifting through bins of donations.

Goodwill also points out that it supports sustainability to extend the life cycle of donated items and helps keep no-longer-needed items out of Arizona landfills.
