CeCe’s Hope Center is putting on a fundraiser food and drink event Saturday.

The center, which aids victims of human trafficking, is sponsoring the  Underachievers' Marathon.  The "0,262 mile event" allows supporters of  CeCe's mission to purchase food and drink tickets for establishments in the Downtown Chandler area.

The start time is listed "10 a.m., because any earlier is just unnecessary." The end time is 2 pm. or "whenever. Who cares? It's Saturday."

The start is at Serrano's Mexican Food, 141 S. Arizona Ave. The finish will be at QuarterHaus, 201 S. Washington St.

Every "runner "receives a shirt and finisher’s medal.  Five finishers of each "heat" will receive a mug.

Tickets are $50, $100 and $150. Donations are accepted as well for those who can't attend. Register here.

CeCe’s Hope Center was founded in 2017 in remembrance of a survivor who achieved healing in adulthood. CeCe, like many in the program, was a woman who experienced sexual abuse in her childhood and was rescued by the state.
