Posted

Chandler City Council member Jennifer Hawkins read — and Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke signed — a proclamation March 24 in advance of April 6-12 as National Library Week.

Joining Hawkins and the mayor in council chambers for the reading were Chandler Public Library Branch Manager Sue Van Horne, administrative librarian Jo-el Miller and community engagement program manager Tara Anglin.

Van Horne encouraged all Chandler residents to get and use library cards.
