The Chandler City Council recognized its most recent Innovation Fair winners at its April 21 study session. A team from Weinberg Gifted Academy won a $500 prize for its projects at the fair.
The Chandler City Council recognized its most recent Innovation Fair winners at its April 21 study session. A team from Bologna Elementary School won a $500 prize for its work in underwater robotics and real-world ocean solutions.
A team from Weinberg Gifted Academy won a $500 prize for its projects at the fair.
There were also fair honorees from Basha, Casteel and Hamilton high schools.
Mayor Kevin Hartke, who, along with Council member Angel Encinas, took photos with the winners who were at the study session, said the fair is “hands down” one of his favorite events of each year.
The 14th annual event was held in February. Sponsors of the fair were mentioned at the study session as well.
