No advance warning of mid-July closure

Abuelo’s is down to only one Arizona location in Peoria after its west Chandler restaurant closed with no notice in mid-July.
The Mexican-based cuisine sit-down restaurant, located on the north side of Chandler Boulevard, across from the Fashion Center, for about 20 years, served a wide range of entrees, mixed drinks and appetizers.
The move wasn’t a surprise for the Abuelo’s chain, which has closed several locations over the past 12 months in a few states, including near its headquarters in Texas.
