Chandler leaders recognized for longtime service

A longtime service recognition and a mixed-emotions retirement were highlighted at separate recent Chandler City Council meetings.

Kevin Mayo was joined by his family at the July 13 meeting to be recognized for 25 years of employment with the city.

Starting out as an intern, Mayo worked his way up to become the planning administrator in 2018 and took on acting Development Services director responsibilities when Kevin Snyder departed last year.
