Biotech firm in west Chandler wants to expand

To meet the needs of increased research and development activities, a Chandler biotech firm has announced its intent to grow.

Integrated Biometrics has announced the expansion of its research facility, located near Kyrene Road and Chandler Boulevard, according to a news release.

Integrated Biometrics produces fingerprint scanners, software that simplifies biometric system integration and contactless identification applications. The company plans to grow its Chandler personnel by at least 50%, the release states.

Recruitment will focus on highly skilled engineers working on biometric technology research and development.

The facility recently expanded its physical footprint by 25% and features a new experience center, showcasing IB products and partner technologies. Visitors can test and demonstrate biometric applications through interactive exhibits.

The release states the company’s growing technology portfolio includes infant identification systems and software that enables integrators to develop custom biometric tools.

Founded in 2002, Integrated Biometrics is headquartered in South Carolina and manufactures their products in both Asia and the U.S.
