Chandler planning board could OK downtown plan

Major work in the west Boston Street area was completed within the past two years in downtown Chandler. A vote to recommend a new downtown regional plan is the lone action item on the Chandler Planning & Zoning Commission’s Wednesday, Sept. 3.

Urban planning involves all sorts of acronyms for plans and designations.

Wednesday, Sept. 3, the Chandler Planning and Zoning Commission is set to discuss and possibly recommend for approval a plan with an acronym — which encompass several other acronym plans.

The commission, in a 5 p.m. study session in Chandler City Council chambers at City Hall, 88 E. Chicago Street downtown, is set to discuss recommending approval of a Downtown Region Area Plan update to council.
