On May 10, the five Apache Junction residents who are candidates for City Council came together at Flatiron Community Park to film a quick video for the community.

They are Braden Biggs, Darryl Cross, Kelly Gremmel, Tess Nesser and Jeff Struble.

"We are all striving to keep this election clean and upbeat, showing what Apache Junction is all about and how we live #TheAJWay," according to  a release.

"In that spirit, we know our small and local businesses have been struggling and as of Monday morning we begin to fully reopen --- with precautions. We decided that we would film a video of all of us that we will post on our respective social media channels and in the various community's groups encouraging our residents to get out and support local Apache Junction businesses," the release states.

"This truly was a collaborative effort and it was decided that it would be all of us or none of us. These challenging times are about far more than an election and this is our way of showing support," according to the release.
