Sunrise RV Resort donates $2,400 in supplies to Apache Junction school

Four Peaks Elementary School in the Apache Junction Unified School District recently received a donation of supplies from Sunrise RV Resort.
The resort at 1403 W. Broadway Ave. in Apache Junction organized a fundraiser in January aimed at supporting local schools, specifically targeting Four Peaks Elementary, 1785 N. Idaho Road in Apache Junction.
The fundraiser’s goal was to raise funds and gather essential school supplies, playground equipment and art supplies for students and teachers, according to a release.
Sunrise RV Resort in January collected a total of $2,400 worth of supplies to benefit the students and staff of Four Peaks Elementary.
“We are incredibly grateful to Sunrise RV Resort for their support of education in our community. This donation will greatly enhance the learning environment at Four Peaks Elementary, providing our students and teachers with valuable resources to thrive academically and creatively,” Four Peaks Elementary Principal Yesenia Braaksma said in the release,
The donation exemplifies the strong spirit of collaboration and support that exists within the Apache Junction community. Four Peaks Elementary extends its heartfelt thanks to Sunrise RV Resort for its dedication to enhancing educational opportunities for local students, it states.
