Towne Storage proposed for lot in Gilbert

A 75,000-square-foot climate-controlled Towne Storage self-storage facility has been proposed for a lot on the southwest corner of Pecos and Recker roads, according to commercial real-estate site vizzda.com.

The Gilbert Planning Commission discussed a design-review proposal at its Nov. 1 meeting. The two-story facility would sit on what is now 2.5 vacant acres. The lot would include 12 parking spaces.

No construction or opening dates are set.
